About Me

Several years ago, during a very stressful time in my life, I was introduced to therapeutic massage through a Gift Certificate.  (Yes, YOU may purchase Gift Certificates from me! See my Contact Me page for how to reach me.)  The sense of calm and the release of pent-up tension that I experienced made quite an impression on me. I felt better after that one hour than I had in many years.

As a Massage Therapist, my goal is to help each of my Clients experience what they need to restore their sense of being grounded, balanced, and on the road to better health:  relaxation, pain relief, stress reduction, improved circulation, and/or overall improvement in the function of their musculoskeletal system. This is accomplished by utilizing a variety of techniques, designed specifically for each Client, from the pre-massage consultation and assessment, and from ongoing communication between the Client and me.

I have worked with Clients of all ages (from late teens to octogenarians) and walks of life (students, bodybuilders/sports enthusiasts, office workers, and retirees with varying activity levels). Some of the conditions I have worked with are: neck and shoulder pain, back pain (lower and upper), hip pain, fibromyalgia syndrome, generalized muscle tightness, and the desire to just "get away" for a brief respite.

Below is a summary of my Education and highlights of the Continuing Education courses I have completed. If you have any questions, simply contact me via phone (cell 336-406-3719) or email (janemoze@gmail.com).  I look forward to hearing from you soon!
